The Art of Manipulating Materials and Textures dates back to the dawn of humanity; our hands are sacred tools, of the finest technology and working with them to meticulously bring raw materials back to life through objects and artifacts is one of the greatest pleasures of living in a human body. But enough talk, here are our creations that are not limited to being hung on a wall, but more to be touched, sensed, worn and cherished with your hands and soul during the rituals of daily life.
For years I used to see sacred herbs paraphernalia tossed in all kinds of cases and plastic bags, but never thought about the concept of a proper "case". When I met AEK, he neatly had his smoking utensils in a leather pouch, ready for the ceremony, and there was born the idea to design a perfect pouch to offer people an intimate and seamless smoking & smudging experience for the rituals we all share and so love.
We have sewn these pouches on a 115+ and a 75+ year old antique SINGER machines, with the intention of infusing it with our love and honoring of this sacred plant, as well as the ceremony of smoking alone or together.
Each piece is unique. There are none two alike.
The hides used for these artworks are hand-picked and some have been carefully saved for over 10 years to make the best of them.
Compared to all the rolling pouches we came across we found that rolling on-the-go or outdoors with no support, made it super important for us to have a tray that keeps it all in place and doesn't scatter everything at the slightest breeze. Therefore, we designed a leather foldable and fixable tray system, the tip can be strapped on one side and the other side can be adjusted to fit the perfect rolling bed for everyone.
Many pouches out there missed a system that adapts to the content and mass of tobacco, so we designed all of them with a leather strap that can be wrapped around as tightly as needed to keep the contents airtight.
Each individual pouch has a personal stuffer that helps curl the filter tips and also helps to secure the closing.
Durability matters a great deal to us. Iconic brands have been born with that principle, but alas what's left of these houses are just the names of their founder and many have replaced the handmade quality with industrial production to meet the demands of the mass-market.
What we offer is sturdy quality and a lifelong guarantee in case anything happens with your pouch.
