My quest while creating this Attar was to bring the rose to life as close as I could get to how the heavenly experience is when you smell a live one. The juicy syrupy feel that is evoked by its velvelty peach skinned petals, the vortex heart in its center from which the honey of its soul radiates, and not to forget the thorns that alert you to the boundaries and awareness that cannot be trespassed.
A honey rose liquor scent, a bouquet in the bottle that is meant to bring you back to your inner richness, the place where it all started, and the place that will be the only one left when everything around is extinguished.
This fragrance is an altar of sorts to the glorious sovereignty of the Rose, embraced by indonesian Sandalwood, crowned with wild red fruits and a voluptuous vanilla benzoin incense backdrop adorning the sacred shrine.

About our Perfumes
Scent
A Natural Perfume uses materials derived from natural sources, which are highly complex in their scent profile. The opening of a natural perfume is sometimes sharper than that of a synthetic, this is due to the fact that the top notes of ALL of the materials are hitting your nose with the initial burst of alcohol that is evaporating of your skin. Be patient, wait until it is dry on your skin then gently take a sniff again. It will have smoothed out and you will begin to be able to smell the different facets that are shining through. Be mindful to check in every 5minutes or so, the scent evolves, it changes, from the top notes you progress into the floral heart, finally into the deeper base which lingers for hours on end. A synthetic offers a more one-dimensional journey, it can be beautiful, but it lacks the living force, rawness, primal power of smelling the complex scent of the natural materials react with your skin and oozing clouds of luxurious hypnotic fragrance as complex as life itself. They are also in terms of projection more intimate than synthetics in general. While their opening can be strong, they usually are slightly more subtle & intimate in general. But they can be equally tenacious in lasting power. If you find they last short on your skin, you can apply the perfume to your hair, this will generally increase the lasting power of the scent. You could also apply it to your clothes which will have a similar effect.( Be mindful: They can stain though!!) The natural oils in your hair will be more true to the experience and effect it has when applied to your own skin, Since the oils in the perfume wil react with the oils in your skin/hair and produce a unique result for every individual.
Ageing
Our perfume concentrates have aged together before bottling, but it is at the moment of bottling that we dilute them down to "Eau de Parfum" Strength with Alcohol/Tincture, in the case of attars they are bottled undiluted after the maturation period. If you are patient enough then you should try to let your perfume age once you receive it. (Or at least don't use it all up immediately if you can) It will mature like a fine wine, if kept in a dark & cool place, Do not expose them to sunlight since the clear glass does not protect the contents from UV damage. During maturation the The sharper edges will soften and the different nuances will blend even further into a united whole. If you receive the perfume and do not like the scent initially or find it too sharp, give it a chance and let it rest for a few weeks, then try it out again. The changes in environmental variables during the shipping process can cause the perfume to need a time of rest to come into balance again.
Sometimes the change is mindblowing if left to mature, especially perfumes that contain Sandalwood, Oud & Vetiver for example are very conducive to ageing. These oils increase in value with age.
Safety & Allergies
We use natural materials for our perfumes. High-Grade Essential Oils, Absolutes, Concretes, Natural Isolates, Resins, Balsams and Resinoids. BUT Natural does not mean automatically harmless or better. There is always a chance that you might be allergic to one of the many ingredients within a perfume.Which is why we would always recommend to do an initial test with a light spray on your hand to see how you react to it. Perfumes that contain Citrus Essential Oils can be phototoxic (meaning if applied to the skin and exposed to sunlight, they can cause sunburns easily), or Oakmoss can be irritating to the Skin for a small minority of people.
For those purposes we offer samples and tester sets for sale that you can try before purchasing an entire bottle. If you know you are allergic to a certain constituent, feel free to contact us to receive more information on whether a specific perfume is not advised for you.
